Just like beauty lies in the eye of the beholder, the lyricism of a language lies in the ear of the listener. Many of us do not realize the vital role language can play in our sense of identity. It is only when we pay close attention to the curves of every ح and the subtle differences between each letter’s pronunciation is when we can discover the poetic beauty behind Urdu.
